I took pictures of Fuzion cause the other field wasn't going.

I mainly took pictures of Edge but I need a paying team for tomorrow. I can't keep doing all this free ****. I've been doing it for 3 years.

$80/ team per day. Unlimited photos and everyone on the team gets a disk of pictures.

Is that too outrageous of a price? I think it's to low personally. My dad said I should charge $100/ hour plus editing and uploading time and cost of the disk.

Reason I only post up a handful is I have no motivation to edit and finish them.

I took ~3000 pictures at NPPL Vegas. I uploaded maybe 15 online. Rest I haven't even touched.

Your camera setup is more expensive than my motorcycle. You absolutely should be charging for pics.

Speaking of cameras, I may be getting a cheap one soon. Waiting on a Cyber Monday deal... I am also getting a new (to me) race snowboard, new boots, and just ordered flights to Colorado in January... Bye bye overtime money.

No you should be charging... and you're charging at an extremely fair rate i would say $150 for a weekends worth of photos (edited) and on a disc. (its they're fault if they dont make sunday . i am speaking like its a 3 day tourney)

Sean, "cheap" photographers are $100 per an event and most others are $150. Some photographers charge per match, which works for some teams as well.

Yeah, i know you wanna get you're foot in the door, then after people notice you're work and see on damn this guy is a good photographer and is affordable thats when you make you're bump up to $100 per team.. and then slowly increase the price as you're booking more teams.

I have people asking me about HB but either I'm going to need to book quiet a few teams or charge a good amount to cover a media pass and atleast half of my travel expenses

big events like NPPL and PSP aren't worth it because you're always gonna spend more.

yea. or you could do some team photoshoots. that's always fun and will give you some extra cash.

i know some photographers were charging about $150 per team to shoot their matches, and then for another $50-100 they did a photoshoot.

Hmm I'm just doing divisional teams so I don't think $60-80/day is too outrageous.

charge $75 per team and offer $20 per game for those teams who don't want to pay for a full day. And offer a $75 option for a short photo shoot

I got paid $40 to take pictures of my friend. He only played 4 games so I kinda felt bad. 3 of the games he got shot off break so I only have him at break and playing back center.

If you're going to do HB, Schedule yourself to be able to book 4-5 teams, charge each team $125 for the weekend. if you know anyone who's going down there to play ask them if you can room with them, and you'll pay them $50 for the weekend. if you book 4 teams then you have $500 ($300 for you're flight, $50 for your room if you can swing it with a team = $150 profit, and if you scheduled yourself 5 teams = more profit, just be sure not to over book teams)
