I saw a player get called out in one of our matches today for out of bounds yet no line seemed to be marked

You can't just pretend out-of-bound lines. You gotta make them real for a national tournament.

theres no reason to run super wide, dont be an idiot and you don't have to worry about where the line is.

Read the rules. The prop farthest outside must be at least five feet from the boundary line. (or something to that degree)

Its a referee judgement thing. If you run behind a ref who is standing reasonably outside the field of play, you're likely going to be pulled. If you run a few feet outside the snake, you should be just fine.

It was a great event and my team had a blast. We watched so many great games, took tech classes, watched some pro practices at CFP on weds, got to practice at CFP once we got knocked out. We saw some pretty bad calls by refs and some really good ones. I really enjoy playing PSP. that being said, I think not mowing the grass for the event, not having out of bounds lines on the field, and not having chronographs in the pits was unexpected. Don't get me wrong, I know so much goes into these events and they did a great job but If I had to list what I was unhappy about, it would be those three things. We need chronographs in the pits. Mowing the grass and marking the out of bounds makes the fields look great and kind of par for the course of a $2800 entrance fee tournament. Still had fun but come on....

what grass wasnt cut and every field had a chrono i know of? Also you shouldnt complain about an out of bounds line. If you have a problem running out of bounds just go up the middle then

I thought that the event was fine by all means! We had chronographs in our pits, the grass wasn't super high, and had no trouble with out of bounds.

Why do you need an out of bounds line? Dont run into the net or behind a ref and you're good!

I was a snake side ref at cup, I just had the rule if they ran into the net then they are out of bounds. nobody did. Plus the wind blew the net in hard sometimes which would have made a tough call to make.

We were basically told if you touched the net you were out of bounds - that being said, we were knocked out of the event by a team running at least 7-10 feet outside the doritos rubbing the net the whole way down in the very last point. Shouldn't have put ourselves in that situation to begin with, but it just seemed odd not to have the tapes marked.

If your team let a guy go down the dorito side against the netting your corner guy wasnt doing something right hahaha.

Dude should have been glowing with yellow paint....and Out of bounds isnt a major, it's not even a penalty, it's just that player is pulled.
