Well, to start... You are thinking of Half-Block Autocockers from RACE. They own the right to that name. The other one you are looking at is a Turtle Cocker, which is the one you had the correct name for. Cutting to the chase, I would say go with the RACE Halfie. The Palmers Pneumatics are near unbeatable, everything on the gun flows better (style wise), and they just plain rip with the RACE Frame. The Turtle Cocker is nice, but I would say the RACE has better Pneumatics and other components (such as the Gladiator reg). I know some might make the argument that the Turtle Cocker components are comparable, and they are. Long makes a damn fine product. But, that doesn't stop the Race from being a bit better (in my eyes). On the other hand, the most important thing for you to decide is what frame feels better in your hands and shoots better for you. Is it the RACE or the E-Blade? That would serve you better in your decision than asking us.

the snapper is very nice, i might be getting the conversion to my orracle. i agree w/ clopclophooves
lifetime warranty all the way. The complete turtle kit comes w/ very nice parts as well, like the micro rock and a believe either a ff ram or a g-force w/ qev's, they also have nice internals as well.

I would go with the Halfblock, because it is a custom built gun, built for performance and reliability. The Turtle is just a conversion.

The so called Racevalve
As far as I know, it's a Racegun made valve, which delivers better airflow. But don't nail me to that statement, ask someone who manufactured it

Or did you mean the solenoid ?

Turtle makes it how u want it, so its really more custom than Raceguns. He'll make it with the valve u want, either his or anyone elses, race frame, eblade, barrel kit, etc. He'll hook it up, make sure it's working ok before he sends it to u. The only problem is that he's a little slow, like a month or two sometimes, but thats because he has more work than he can do.

the race half blocks have a nicer look to them. Turtles have a huge plain black half block that sticks out like a sore thumb. If only Race just sold the bodies seperately.....

Uhh around 3 and a half months I think.
Once I forgot to charge the battery, because the night before everyone was fingering the Halfie. But that's just being a ******* and alcohol abuse

Besides that, nope, no problems with the marker itself.

I've had my Race HB for nearly as long as Ben and no problems.

Now in my eyes the best thing about the HB is that it is the Race signetur gun and before it leaves the shop it is tested and tuned. I opened the box pulled the gun out screwed in my tank and it was set at a conservitave 20 bps and I got roughly 1600 shots out of a 68/2700 fill.

Without changing anything on the gun it would run reliably at 22.222 bps (with eye) now with QEV's it runs reliably at 26.315 bps (with eye)

Has there been any accuracy differences with HB's compared to any other cocker?

Between the Turtle and the Halfblock, shouldn't be that big of a difference. Both have less than any fullsize Cocker.
