Questions
How much paint does a player typically go through all together? Shooting an electronic marker.
Will food expenses be covered as well?
Will the hotel be classy or trashy?
Can I bring my dog as well if I win, without it counting as my +1?
Thanks, Braden

Expect to shoot A LOT
Might be food available, supplied if you're lucky!
Depends on how much you spend and where to stay
A dog? They don't allow them on planes so you would have to drive

I have run an Etek 3 the past 2 Decay of Nations and for the whole weekend, I've done 2 or 3 cases. Figure on that, unless you are spray happy, or just can't find anyone to shoot, which for this event is not hard to do lol

They typically offer a free dinner to players who have pre-regged for Friday night, but at this time I don't know if they will have it. Otherwise, they do have a "food truck" there" and local food establishments within a short driving distance. Or you can bring a gas fueled grill (no charcoal)

On some years, I have stayed at a Motel 6, a short drive away and they are very nice. Course the drawback is, driving there and back from the field. But the plus side, a nice soft bed and a shower! lol

lol this one I can't really answer, but I know a few players that have brought their dog. Of course you have to curb your dog as a courtesy.
Thanks, Braden

I have answered based on my past experience going to this event. Hope to see you there!

Yeah, you can bring dogs on planes as special luggage IIRC. My brother used to do that on cross-country flights, but it terrorized the **** out of the dogs, so he stopped that.

Sorry for the late response, I was hoping that someone already chimed in on this one.

As to campsite parking, yes there are camping spot available and is usually first come first serve basis. They have reserved their speedball fields for those that want to camp. However, for RV camping, you have to reserve your spot in advance. Giant will have a graphic available, so that players will know where they can camp.
or is it strictly hotel/motel... is there a parking pass for everyone else not camping at the site?
You can hotel/motel it, but you would be parking in the camping area and still pay the camping fee for the whole weekend, just don't lose the parking voucher.
if so how much
Campsite Parking: $10.00
RV Parking: $20.00
|
And I don't have an answer if a dog can count as a +1. I think that is an answer for Giant Sportz.
Again, sorry for the delayed response, hope that helps.
