Ahh, big fan of Hawk I take it. I have HP-plus on my car but I'm thinking about switching. I went to The Dragon and obliterated my brakes. It could be a number of things that caused it (lack of cooling, ****ty fluid, old tired pads, inadequate rotors, dirty calipers) but I might as well go through everything.
Well we got back from Solo Nationals on Saturday, then went racing on Sunday. It was a crazy trip. Our car sucked a screw from the throttle body plate into the motor and toasted it on 2nd test and tune run. We ended up having to find other cars to drive. We both hoped into Miata's which to say do not drive anything like a built 240sx.
Here's us trying to find the issue at first.
Poor girl never got to be tested against the best.
what was supposed to be our competition.
What I ended up driving.
Overall it was fun. I ended up placing middle of the pact, which isn't bad considering I've only driven a miata once before and that was about 5 years ago.
Drove my car around the block for a few laps, love this thing. However it was a beast to drive around without power steering. pump and bracket are on the way now i just need to figure out what to do about hoses.
An S13 with body panels and grip? You're ****ing with me.

Dont have the money for an SM car, but I do like 240,. my new CS car
Sweet ride, but what do you mean "don't have the money for an SM car" - isn't spec miata (I'm assuming) pretty cheap nowadays? Thinking of picking up a miata and building one under that assumption haha
