Looks to me like one of the more original Rails. Definitely not a Reflex like you said. I would say from probably 2007/2008. Someone correct me if I am wrong. I dont really follow Rails.

When you say 'rail' do you mean 'matrix rail'? I'm pretty positive it is a matrix but I'm not exactly sure what the term 'rail' refers to. From what I understand the matrix 'rail' is a different body styling, But there is also a marker called the 'Proto Rail' all this is pretty confusing. Also what kind of resale value can I expect out of this marker?

They are called PMR's. Proto Matrix Rail. Some argue the name as they are not a "true" matrix. The Proto Matrix 8 was the last line of Proto's true Matrix line. The internals will differ on the rails. Proto is the brand, Matrix is the model. And Rail is the type of matrix that it is.
Not to be confused with PM5, PM6, PM7 and PM8.
As far as a retail value, I would say anywhere from $100-200. More towards the $100.

Yeah, looks like a 2007 PMR. Aftermarket trigger, trigger guard, va, back cap, eye covers etc.
They are great guns for the price. I'd buy an on/off for it, other than that it's got everything you need.
