Can i put a Ninja reg onto my brand new empire tanks? I have a 50ci ninja but want to use a bigger tank like my 68ci empire. But i need low pressure output on my tank

Yes you can.
Though you can buy an LP kit for your empire reg to make it low pressure instead of having to swap regs.

i dunno how much i trust the LP kit from empire. it has me take out my 10 shims and put in 12... thats just strange.

I dont know why you wouldnt trust it.................

Empire is a great company that has been around for years with great customer service. Getting the LP kit for that reg would be a lot easier, than switching regs.

Also unless its some internally routed gun (macroline-less) that specifies specifically in the manual no HP or an older Angel, you can run HP on it with no problems anyways; generally speaking there might be an exception or 2 to that.

I believe the LP kit shims are thinner. I could be wrong, I've never personally compared the shims to each other. But generally speaking when going from a high pressure to a low pressure the shims are going to be thinner.
They probably need more thin shims to get the correct spacing to create the spring effect within the reg would be my guess without looking into it further.
