I picked up a old 2k cocker and want to half block it and shorten the back but I can't find the link anymore can someone help me ?

If you half block it, there is no back block.

I think he wants to "midget" it by shortening the length of the lower tube in the back. HMCL may be able to help you out. He halfblocks stuff for people.

Don't shorten the back(midgeting) if you are not planning on using a MQ valve or else you are going to have a hell of a time getting it up to velocity and not cranking your lpr way up to cock the gun. If you do you'll need a special part that I think acid customs makes on customcockers forums but it still isnt 100% reliable.

You speak of an extended IVG.... you cannot run that without half blocking it or mid blocking it, the back block will be in the way of the IVG.

Just for the record, I midget-ed a gun and had no problems with a stock cocker hammer spring, I couldn't get above 290 fps but I wanted 280 anyways. See here: http://www.pbnation.com/showthread.php?t=3778675

I'm planning on do this work myself I just can't find the link for midgeting the back of my cOcker and my fields here r all 280 anyways so can't I just leave it stock and chop it

Chop it as in? Midget? You'll cut the IVG off if so

you want a sick cocker? get a pre 2k brick with a slider, put a universal T-board in it and an MQ valve. Also get one of the front guards to cover the pneumatics (you have to make a bracket to hold the solenoid so that it fits under the guard. I actually did that to my 97 before restoring it to original except for the hpr and 98 ans slider.

Why do you need a link? If you know how to mill then all you need is the specs, found here: http://www.whitewolfairsmithing.com/.../JCM-guide.gif
And if you want to midget the gun then cut the back IVG off accordingly (I went 3/4" I say now go 1/2").
