Hey guys,

I currently have the olive green Profits, but the colour has started to come off revealing the chrome underneath. Since I no longer have my original receipt, I think I'm screwed for a replacement; especially considering Sly was just bought by Valken.

I've been looking at the Sly Profit Redeye mask as a replacement, but I have a question: Is the entire mask is made of the rubber that's normally on the bottom, including the part that holds the lens? I'm hoping it's all rubber so I won't have to worry about the colour rubbing off again.

I doubt it. It just looks to be a matte black coating.

I see. Thanks. it looks to be the exact same colour as the rubber part on ANS's picture, which led me to believe it was rubber.

Can anyone who owns a pair confirm this?

I would have to assume it's just a black finish as well.
Have you considered painting your mask? I had my blues replaced and they started flaking again.

Yep your screwed , i contacted Valken and with out the receipt they won't do a thing , the finish is coming off mine as well , from the lens frame , from the strap ends , wasn't a big fan of Valken to begin with and now not at all , my goggles will be empire from here on in best customer support hands down , as far as goggs and gear nobody compares in quality to empire .

I've already owned E-Vents and I wanst impressed with the fogging or the wide profile. The i4's are OK, but I already own a pair. The Profits just fit me like a glove, I'll never use another mask.

Wasn't there a guy who hydro-dipped his Profits and made them realtree camo?

Mine are black plastic. They don't seem to be coated.
