I think the DM6 on/off is fatter and the 7 has an extra o-ring on the front, I don't believe you would be able to interchange on/offs.

And the o-rings wouldn't need to match up exactly. I'm not sure how a cp plug could stop the gun from firing without leaking.

Alright this is just me but why would you take out the flow plug just to put in another flow plug? Unless there is more to the story that your not saying.

The DM6 will have a dye symbol milled into the body just above the rear of the trigger frame and the milling set screws in between the Bolt and LPR back cap will be set in as opposed to further out on the side of the gun. That's the easiest way to tell the two apart.

The on/off in the earlier DM's were very prone to leaking. The CP flow plug was created to eliminate the leak. Some people also liked the CP flow plug because it removed the bump created by the original on/off and made it easier to grip the DM near the barrel.

If it's leaking from the frame with the plug and works fine with the on/off, change the rear plug o-ring and make sure the plug is pushed in all the way.

Yes but i'm pretty sure the dm7 plug will fit in a dm6, you just have to change to a smaller oring, I did this for two other dm6's i worked on

I understand what the continuous flow plug does I had one on my DM7. I understand that you changed the original On/Off now, but original post made it look like you changed a continuous flow plug for a continuous flow plug
