Need help choosing a new pump

I play with a 99 freeflow boxer autococker with a nice ccm pump
I am looking to get a new pump but here recently i play front and run alot i need a light pump gun that has a smoother pump than my ccm kit
I am looking at a open class phantom because they are legendary for their guns
Any recommendations though
I only play open class i dont feel i can play right without a hopper and a tank

You won't find a better kit than the CCM kit. If you're not satisfied with the stroke as is, get a spring kit and play around with different combos. to make the stroke lighter, you'll need to use a lighter main spring. the pump stroke on a phantom won't be as smooth or light.

CCM and the Check-It V2 are right on the same level, so you're really not going to get any better than either of the two.

If all you want is lighter, find a used STO or Pro-Stock and throw either of said pump kits on it.

What I'm saying is the Phantom isn't even remotely close to the level of smoothness on the CCM you have on your Free Flow.

Have you ever shot a Phantom?

You won't beat a CCM pump kit for smoothness.

A phantom is light and has a smooth pump stroke but it is a HEAVY pump stroke compared to a sniper with a CCM kit.

If you are looking for a light set up on an open class gun I would suggest you try to reduce the size of you hopper and tank.

Personally I run a stick feed on my open class guns. that is really small and not for everyone but maybe look into a 50rnd hopper or a sportshot. the bonus to smaller hoppers is you can use smaller pods which are therefore lighter...and less profile.

There are 13/3000k tanks that will net you about 150 shots. 22/3000k tanks that will get you about 225 and they are light and small.

I like my 45/45 but there are a few 35cbi tanks around too. Not many but they do exist.

Your next option after that is to look into a halfblock, or a mini'd, midgeted, micro'd sniper of some kind...try to shave off the weight here and there...

Phantom's have a heavier pump stroke, but if you get a under barrel pump kit for it, it's better on air, and feels better in your hand I feel.

A UC kit makes a phantom better on air?

I agree they make it more ergonomic for sure but fail to see how the UC kit will effect anything to do with the air?

buy some sort of newer (2k+) sniper that is half blocked, much lighter. But if you still phantom lightness and CCM level performance pick up an mvp.
