Seriously WTF do hollywood think they are doing with scenes like this? Imagine what a 12 year old will think of the sport when he sees somone playing and potentially killing someone in our sport? Is he going to invest into it and make it his sport of choice? F**K NO!
I don't even want to begin on the safety violations...
Oh wow... really...?
You honestly think this is going to "scare away new players and bring the sport down".
Wow... does your life consist of lollipops and rainbows?
With your vision that that video click will scare players and bring the sport down I am duprised you even play paintball to begin with.
For one thing let me make sure you realize this is a movie.
Another thing is any 12 year old is not going to be pushed from playing paintball after watching this. If anything he/she will google paintball grenade and will become attracted to the sport after watching that bad*ssed clip.
You are too uptight. Relax a little. If someone is riding a bicycle without a helmet on tv shpuld we ban bicycles after a kid does the same and is hurt?
I bet money you are a liberal.
I don't see any killing in this video either. Hell even the paint grenade was blue not like it was red.
If anything it will bring about 10 more people to the sport IMO. I think that the 10 peple that decide to watch the movie will decide that they want to play paintball and be Tom Hardy. They could easily find out that its impossible to do that ****, but still have a good time.
Faaa Q. Failure is NOT an option.....

That was awesome!! That would make me want to play paintball instead of pushing me away.
Movies and TV shows are always going to be bad about masks. You need to be able to know who the characters are. I was happy the girl put a snowboarding mask on. My biggest worry out of this would actually be people going and playing without a mask in their back yard woods or something and how the media would latch on to any eye injuries if it were to happen.
The typical Hollywood lack of mask is stupid and, as a ref, that bothers me. However, to be so very fatalistic about the potential impact of one scene in a movie that has nothing else to do with paintball, and most impressionable young kids aren't even going to be watching, is completely asinine. Honestly, inflammatory actions such as essentially declaring the ruin of our sport by way of one movie scene are more damaging to it than the bloody scene itself.
