LUXE LEAK trigger frame

Ok sooooo i took my gun to a tech and they said it had a problem with the solenoid. so i replaced the solenoid now there is a major leak out of the grip frame. The gun will not air up it rushes air through the trigger hole. i dont know what would cause this? was i sold a broken noid? and which way should i screw the hpr so that it is zeroed out and no pressure is released into the gun. Thanks

ok so I made the suggestion because your tech sold you the noid and made the recommendation. No need to be an *** about it. If the tech made the wrong call HE has to fix it. Maybe you need a tech who knows what he is doing? I love my tech's work he does a great job. Don't ask for advice then be a prick

Sounds like the tech didn't know what he was doing and blamed the solenoid for simple reg creeping. Swap the reg out with the reg off another marker and air it up. If the leak goes away then you know its the regulator causing the issue.

When the solenoid is over-pressurized it will have a small slow leak out of the trigger area. It is a very common issue and means your reg needs to be serviced.

But he says the gun won't air up and all the air rushes out of the frame. I'd assume it's the oring between the body and the frame. I'm gonna have to say your tech is an idiot and probably is not familiar with luxe's... Or high ends if his first call was to blame the noid. Can't hurt to service your reg

if there is a loud pop then a leak its the o ring between the body and frame, take the frame off slowly and check the threads in the body and on the frame. this happened to me and i had a stripped grip frame DLX fixed if for 30$, for a while i thought i was the o ring till one day i went to tighten the rear screw and well the threads were gone.

The loud pop was probably the o-ring you replaced breaking again since you're over-pressurizing by not having a properly functioning regulator. Again - replace the regulator with a regulator from another marker and test it appropriately.

Since you use the same regulator again and heard a pop you will probably have to replace whatever o-ring broke just now before you can judge if its the regulator since you will now have a leak due to that broken o-ring.

So to recap - replace broken o-ring
Remove current regulator
Place another regulator on the luxe
Air it up and see if the o-ring pops again or if the leak persists.

Hope this helps.

the body o ring comes before the regulator. so i would doubt it has anything to do with the reg.

You have a broken $1500 marker and you think the solenoid is the problem (a very expensive part). I suggest you find a trustworthy tech to service your Luxe. Your posts suggest a relatively limited amount of technical ability and experience. You'll probably save time and money in the long run but letting a pro work on that gat.

Not necessarily a Luxe reg, any FRM with a macro line into an asa with your bottle. Air it up up from here and it will eliminate a lot of potential causes straight up.

Any standard regulator will fit the luxe, you don't need it for play you're just using it for testing.

I'll simplify this.... With an example

1. Remove regulator from your luxe
2. Remove regulator from another marker(like an ego, you can leave the asa on the ego)
3. Put ego regulator onto the luxe.
4. Screw tank into ego asa(with macro leading to the luxe so it airs up the luxe).
5. Air it up and see how your luxe responds
