Another dumb question
(i looked on google)Ok this is the noobiest question out there. Ok if I was going to put a cold air intake on an otherwise stock engine would I see any increase in horse power or would I need a tuner to see any increase in power

If the flow is restricted yes. Ls Motors are pretty good though a tune with anything will help.

Get a hot air intake. Hot air is more combustible. Cold air intakes are only for getting better mileage. If you're not concerned about mileage, get a hot air intake.
