Other than the random mud pit or pricker bush is there really anything about woodsball to hate?

Bushwookies. Lots going on all over the field and they hide in an ignored spot just waiting for someone to walk by. I usually spot em' since the yellow lense I wear for woodsball is amazing at picking up movement . . . but not always.

Of course I've gone mad with power. You ever try going mad without power? It's boring. No one listens to you.

Stand off. You get both sides hide and when they decide to push forward both teams are too nervous to move up so they spend 10 minutes taking pop shots at each other. then when you try to move up solo you are instantly the focus of the other team and its often times a suicide rush.

I really have no qualms with rec/woods ball. My only real gripe is that we have no woods here in So-cal/LA area, and therefore cannot play in them.

Reminds me when I started playing in central IL. Trees were a bit of a rarity. So, the speedball field, well that's the newb field. Experienced players with a lot of dedication would make the 2 hour drive to the nearest proper woods field.

I hate when people wipe... oh and all the noobs that hide in the back of the field thinking they can hit people from back there. That's pretty much it.

The often stacked teams made by refs not paying attention to who they assign to the teams.

Oh I love that kid of stuff. Makes it so easy to pick out the weakest link on the opposite team or who I am going to sacrifice for field positioning.

poison ivy, oak, or sumac. I can deal with the stalemates on the field, uneven teams, and all the other minor annoyances. it sucks running through a field and paying attention to the game and then a week later have poison ivy popup everywhere
