also, ikea has a LOT LOT of things you can use for photographs that are cheap. As in props, lighting, backgrounds (cheap curtains), etc. etc.

We have JYSK here (pronounced "yisk"), I believe it's the same parent company but I'm not sure, same sort of idea anyway, not as much selection.

Hey guys Im pretty new to this photography stuff, i recently got an EOS T3 and have been reading up and experimenting with it. I mostly would like to get into this because im mainly a graphic designer so its always a plus to use your own images when ever possible. Id just really like some imput as to what i can possibly improve on. Heres one i took today, i only have the kit lens it came with, no developing in this photo.
Shot with ISO 100 18mm f/4.0 1/40 sec

First ever HDR attempt. There's so much goofy **** going on in this picture, I don't think I'll be doing this too often.

Also, finally used my damn beauty dish, threw a grid on it as well. Now if only I didn't suck at portrait photography.....

Yeah, an' I said: "I do," but I didn't have a clue,
How I'd miss all the whiskey an' women.
I tried to be true, but it's all I can do,

You should have gotten their reaction face of "Is this ****ing guy really climbing up this tree?"

Haha. They are country kids so it didn't surprise them. I had to shed the flippity floppies though. I'll do anything I can to get the shot that I have in my head. I need to bring someone with me to film behind the scenes stuff.

Behind the scenes with me would be hilarious. 10' away, my wife is hiding in the grass breast feeding our daughter. On the way back, I said screw it, I'm not having this head bounce off my *** for the hike back. I left the tripod completely extended and just humped it on my shoulder, camera still attached with all the straps dangling. The hikers I passed all gave me major WTF looks. Photogs are NOT common in my area.
