Quick question

I just installed a cp vertical reg adapter and cp reg and wondered if I still need to keep running LP out of my tank or can I put it back to HP? Thanks!

You should be able to run either or.

I'd still prefer LP, but the HP would work just fine.

Ok, ill probably just leave it LP but I just wanted to make sure it was gonna be high enough for the cp to function properly and be consistent. Thanks!

The operational range of the CP reg is wider, so you can use either air source. In fact, that's the primary reason most people move to a CP reg setup. Aside from the convenience of standard threading, that's really the only advantage to a CP reg. But you don't need to use a high pressure tank. Your LP tank is still fine.

Ok thanks! One more question. When I receaved the gun it was leaking real bad out through the frame so I took it completely apart, replaced the rings and relubed it. The leak then went to where that little guide is for the lpr that the noid cable goes through. I took the lpr out and relubed it again and made sure everything was possioned right and put a Hopper through it with no problem. The velocity was low at 235 fps but that might have been the barrel. It was a .695 with .684 paint. Soooo, the next day after I installed the cp I wanted to go dial it in but that leak was back. Any ideas on why it would leak from there? Also how many shims do you run in your lpr? I've got all 4 in it.

Because your CP reg is operating at a different pressure it may have triggered the leak if it was either too low or too high. You'll want to re-set your HPR and LPR pressure since you've changed over. If the leak is still there after you set your HPR then do the same thing you did before. Check the LPR piston and body o-rings, make sure they are not damaged, and grease them when you reassemble.
