Totally just realized that the way you change weapon attachments is basically an exact copy of switching attachments in Crysis.

Not the same developers, sadly. If so, I don't think there would have been as many doubts considering Crysis was so amazing (especially graphically).

After further investigation, I did find that someone is supposedly doing a zombie Crysis 2 mod. That could end up looking amazing. (But alas, just another mod)

Cool video, jack in the box sounds at the end made me almost pee my pants.

Indeed. Night time looks so freaking awesome. The cricket sounds are cool too, hopefully they don't get annoying when playing at night though. Getting so excited for this game.

edit: also glad that they are open about things that they are currently working on, for example how he says that they are having problems on their servers when a large horde of zombies is close.

if you think about that, they are having trouble when 60-70 zombies are close

I dont think ive ever seen more than probably 10 zombies at a time chasing me in Day Z. Imagine 60-70 zombies chasing you? I also read one of his posts that said the max number of zombies "on screen" at one time probably wont exceed 150.

150 ****ing zombies? just thinking about it is getting me excited.

Yeah, I haven't actually played DayZ yet. Can't justify paying the money for a game just to get a free mod. But I've watched gameplay videos as they update the mod and I think the most I've seen was 15 maybe 20 (Still would be tough as hell), and they weren't really all right there. The players were taking cover in a building and the zombies just kept coming.

I really hope the big cities are highly populated with a 100 zombies. I just want it to be like Rick in the Walking Dead going down that street in Atlanta. Just turning the corner to see that many.. God.

California map going to be close to 2x bigger than Colorado? Wow.

Also, dear god. I hope they have worked those zombies out. Like, why the heck did they all run up those stairs and then back down? lol. And the animations look better, but they were still glitching through him as he was hitting them, and when they were all bunched together it was really glitchy.

I know its still alpha but I would thing that would really be getting worked on hard right now. Other than that everything looks fantastic.

i honestly think that wont be worked out completely until after the game is launched. trhey are taking a minecraft approach to the game so im sure there will be plenty of glitches even after the game is out. Still wont be nearly as bad as DayZ though, and people play the **** out of that game

They said they were working hard on people being able to build their own little areas too. So they have a lot of things yet to implement, along with fixing the bugs here and there. It should be awesome once it all gets implemented.

Oh yeah, though glitchy and dumb as heck, these zombies still look way better than DayZ zombies.

Yeah I still assume that there will be glitches after the main release. All games do.

im not a huge fan of ammo and attachments being purchasable. the menu looks pretty sleek and easily navigable though.
