As I watch more, there is alot of buggy things but hopefully that is getting worked on. Like when he's hitting that zombie in the face and the zombie keeps kinda glitching into him.
Also he runs around that corner and the zombie doesn't even turn to look at him. There were tons of zombies in that first town though
edit: supposedly pre-alpha gameplay. sounds like october for first wave of public beta, or maybe still alpha. Either way. After watching that video I'm even more excited. Private worlds sound way fun.

Based on the fact they asked their FB users if they'd pay for Alpha and then Beta access I'm guessing it'll be mass Alpha, and then go into the planned beta.
It works, though, because they'll get a huge number of testers to provide data.
Looks promising still. Obviously there's clear issues, but solid looking for an unknown title until recently, and still in pre-beta stage.

Last I heard that was moreless just a tease, to try and see how many people would actually buy it if they released it in alpha. My opinion..release it in the last stage of alpha and then from that point work towards the full release, but since you already released it to the public, push the official release date back and give yourself more time to come up with a polished full release.
After that, minecraft style updates every few months or so.

The crawling, weapon handling and zombie animations had me grimacing to say the least.. Looks promising though and its a work in progress i realize that.

i honestly dont care too much about animations as long as they arent so bad that theyre all i can pay attention to. ill be in first person mode almost all the time anyway.

They have got to fix the zombie animations at least. The crawling and stuff I can live with but when the zombies start fast walking toward your character they look like a drunk alien driving a human suit who's trying to act casual so the cops won't stop him.

The animations aren't off too far, and considering that is pre-alpha, I ain't even mad. There are definitely things that needs polished up.
