Pretty sure you can earn money or credits in the game or if you want something quicker they have it available where you can purchase currency.

i dont think you earn it. i think you just find it as loot in the world.

I guess you can earn it if a player posts a mission and gives you the gold as payment.

Can't wait either. I don't have cable though so I'll have to buy every episode on iTunes

I tried to watch revolution, it just seemed kinda cheesy. I'll have to give it more time though.

I would usually feel the same way about TV, but I freaking love the walking dead.

I'm not positive how the are doing in game currency. I do know that all purchasable items can be found in game.

Cool video, getting more excited. Also, mutr, have you heard about clan support? Will there be any? I have heard people discussing it but never anything from a dev.

I almost bought arma II the other day so that I could try out DayZ. Decided against it after watching videos of the most recent updates and everything still being so freaking clunky. I'll wait and pray that the standalone version is better.

I haven't heard. I think that may be in a future update. Same with animals. I know animals are a for sure deal, but they won't be added until sometime after the full version releases.

I bought it very early in it's release. Back when there were only about 50k people playing. No one really shot at people back then. The hacking now is still a huge issue, but it doesn't stop the game from being fun imo. But I'm hearing amazing stories from the Private Hive servers. I'm actually going to go and play some really shortly to check them out. Apparently they're just perfect with everything.

If I was you though I wouldn't worry about getting it, WarZ comes out in just a week or so. Wait till the stand alone

Here is what I have found out since looking into it. There will be vehicles, but you will need to find fuel for them, and well as parts. Militart vehicles are also a rare spawn. Again, I don't think they are ready for alpha/beta or even full release just yet.

Yeah, I've made it this long not playing DayZ, so I'll live another week. I actually enjoy watching DayZ youtube videos though.

Just don't forget anything you buy with cash. You can lose in game. If another player kills ya they get what you had in ur backpack.. So watch what you use it for.

Exactly. And as I said. Everything you can buy, can also be found right in the world.

I just hope there will be things in a separate store that you can't find in game. Such as cosmetics. Like skins, and such.

Yea I'm actually playing a private hive right now. tons of vehicles and helicopters. Admins are constantly abnning cheaters and people spamming all chat.

I have decided that releasing this game on a Monday is a terrible idea. They should have made it Friday. Because if this game is even half the game I hope it is, there is no way I am getting any work done the whole week.
