The Build Log:
First month....
Trying to make the mech valve work with dual bodies.
Had all sorts of issues, changed a million orings, nothin....
Realized I was missing the bolt stops out of the firing cans.... whoops
Friday 1/25/13
Put in about 6 hours making the adapter plates
It took a few tries and changes to make the rail work...
Realized a few things.....
1. The material i grabbed was too narrow, needed to be about .375 wider
2. The fittings are offset, and i had to cut the holes in the sides
3. Figured out I could make it much shorter (started with 1", ended with about .500")
Made 4 feednecks, Ion threaded, .875" dia so clamping elbows will fit
Saturday 1/26/13
Attempted to chrono, was getting about 10fps difference, and major bolt drag with the Lucky Stage 1 Sprung Bolts
Showed it off at Warpaint Indoor Pump Night, got alot of positive feedback and interest
Dan Bonebrake loved it!
Sunday 1/27/13
Swapped the Lucky Stage 1's for stock ion bolts
Cycles MUCH better, have not chrono'd it
Monday 1/28/13
Worked on the Cad model for Rev2, which will be mounted in a Rifle Stock (still need to find one!)
I will try to keep updating this as it goes
And like always.... keep an eye on SSCfb for more pictures!

Keep up the nice work! Why did this not start out as a double barreled Promaster?

nice!
I always wanted to see a double barrel paintball gun that fired each barrel separately... like in the first 1mm of pull the first fired and then another 1mm of the pull the second fired

i believe gearheadz double phantom build will do that (2 stage trigger)
this is still 2 shots 1 pull

How are they being fed? Two hoppers? Looks like it might be tight. Custom setup for the hoppers? ie. two angled feednecks? Or are you going to limit the insanity by making them rear facing and tube fed?
Ever considered mounting them so that the feednecks point out instead of up? Put the "tray" in the middle and mod some Halo's to Warp feed it?
Ie.
Combine the Ion version of this:
http://www.zakvetter.com/pages/paint...doublemag.html
with two modded Halo's that are sound activated like this:
http://www.mcarterbrown.com/forums/c...el-a4-fly.html
Or have the right one center feed and the left one Warp? That way you can easily fit a hopper up top and not have any issues with the right hand gripping the frame. It would look awful, but functionally may be the best setup.

Check out my very last picture, which is the cad model for the rev2 mount that will hold the bodies at 45* then use clamping elbows with dual Apache hoppers!

ordered up a few QEV's and a couple extra mech 3ways
i *THINK* the double barrel pump problem will be solved with a pair of QEV's (testing this weekend)
if that works....
i will possibly have a few single barrel mech ion pumps for sale at Supergame in MAY!
rifle stock is headin to me in the next day or two.... ended up trading some machine time for it
once its here, its just a matter of BUILDING again!

I always wanted one of those nasty typhon double barreled guns back in the day.. Friend of mine had one, but sold it after we all quit.. Nice work on the ions.
