how bad does this hurt?
what will be the cost?
how available will the paint be?

I am looking to get my almost 6 year old sister into paintball she is always asking to go to the field and watch my team and always will to help and I was thinking maybe this would be a good start with target practice in the back yard and maybe in a year or 2 move on to shooting each other or should we start shooting each other now since this new gun is coming out and the pain is suppose to be minimized or barely any at all what is your opinion?

The cost will range, but the z100 pistol is $29.99 and the z200 shotgun is $39.99.

The paint will be available at most retailers carrying the products. Also it's available on our website. JTSplatMaster.com

We would definitely recommend starting with target shooting and teaching overall safety first. The minimum age we recommend is 9+, but with supervision and guidance she could certainly start with target shooting. There is still a small sting when you get hit.

I felt it sting so atm i would just get her use to them or wait and pickup the chest protector they're supposed to be introducing. Its definitely not as bad as .68 but it stung and left a small welt (walmart paint) but the welt disappeared under 20 minutes.

The cost for me was 25$ for the pistol and i priced the shotgun at 38$.

The paint was 15$ for 1000 rounds and if you can I would support a local field if they carry 50 cal if not buy the walmart stuff. But be warned it is older and a little harder of a shell than it should be if you buy from wally world

I think starting backyard target practice is a great idea especially to get a younger person into the sport. So far i have only heard good things about the markers and if you do get one I hope you both enjoy it. Just remember my warning about walmart paint.
