Nope, on the contrary we will see it get worse as ACA is phased in and Congress still fails to pass a balanced budget. Plus we have another war with Iran looming as debates pass to increase sanctions. Didn't we try sanctions in the 90s?

well, unless someone is in the Krugman camp government spending and war spending will be a stimulus putting people to work.

Well if we had serious "war spending" that put people to work it'd help in the short term and post-war with the "artificial" growth, as you might see it, after government price controls/other wartime measures are relaxed we should see private investment finally make a big recovery.

I'm in the market monetarist/monetary disequilibrium camp myself, so NGDP targeting all the way.

Very, very few economists see this recession getting better anytime soon. I myself am quite worried about the Fed's incompetence and the state of political decision-making.

Also, absolutely zero talks about increases in taxes until we have full recovery (this is something the left and right need to be bipartisan about), cut military spending by 1/4-1/2 and invest half of the cut spending into NASA, relax FDA regulations, relax some zoning laws, minor subsidies for private investment in road repair/creation (look at china), and any supply side regulatory changes to increase private investment need to be seriously considered.

Awesome

So no one here thinks that the exponential growth of our debt is ANYTHING to worry about then?

The fact that people are moving away from the dollar as the reserve currency.

Please do not point to china as a model anyone should follow, the hard landing they are in for as of now i would not wish on my worst enemy.

People don't really know what exponential even means. How can you expect them to be alarmed?

Amen to that.

It seems the problem becomes people THINK they got the best education, never really understanding it was propaganda in the first place.

It is not that these people don't know, it's that they know for sure everything they talk about.

Beliefs= man kinds greatest learning block.

Reading a lot does not mean you understand what is being said. You have proven over and over that you fail to comprehend the information you disseminate.

I am sure my engineering education was corrupted by the NWO to assist in their cover-up of the WTC attacks.

Funny that i tested with an above college grade reading level in the 7th grade, but i will let you tell it chief.

And your correct reading something proves nothing if the material you read is picked thru confirmation bias, or if you view the information thru your preconceived notions about the subject.

I don't have a problem with that, unlike say someone who went to college for engineering and thinks because they did so, they know it all.

And failing to disseminate information is different then not agreeing with you, i would bet cash money, if i agreed with your view on 9-11 i would be the dissemination king in your eyes.

Btw an engineering degree means absolutely **** when you can not even figure out how your own mind works buddy.

Ah, the dreaded steel chair theory. Science will never be able to disprove that enormous hurdle.
