Thank you from the MAPL!
The MAPL would like to thank all of the teams who participated this past weekend at Event 3. There were so many great examples of sportsmanship on and off the field that happened all weekend long! We would also like to thank the friends, family members, coaches, and sponsors of the teams for their support.
The next group the MAPL would like to thank is the Ref staff! As everyone knows, these men and women are on the field for every point and it is a very difficult job especially with the humidity this weekend. We are proud to have the ref crew we do and again want to say Thank you!
The MAPL is a true players league, however it wouldn't be possible without our staff. There are many people you see from the ID window, registration, paint sales, score keepers, trash runners...etc. We would also like to thank the photographers for the passion they have and the talent they share with all of us. There are people behind the scenes that make so much happen, we would like to thank them as well. Cyndi, Nancy, Gabe, Zap, Christ, Bergie, and a guy who kept things running all weekend and probablly heard his name 500 times over the radio....Whitey. Thank you to all of you.
The MAPL would finally like to thank Rick and OXCC for hosting the event. The fields were great (as usual) which is tough to do in this heat! We would like to thank all of our sponsors and vendors, because without them we couldn't have the tournament series we do.
