i have a real small wrv shortboard. it's like 5'7 lol
and a nice bz bodyboard that i got last summer. the waves have been ankle high shorebreak lately but today it was 3-4 feet. mad fun. going out tomorrow but it will be ****. just going with friends

I live in Canada, and I want to head out to Tofino (British Columbia) and Surf.
Any of you guys know anything about wakesurfing by the way? I have a boat here and in my house in Austin and its something I want to get into but I dont know anything about it. I wakeskate, and wakeboard a lot though.
wake surfing is pretty fun, you really have to load the boat down with ALOT of weight and find the perfect speed and be able to pump real good in order to ride the wave like a surfboard and without holding onto the handle
a skimboard behind a boat is gnarly as ****, no fins = slippery
Thats a sick idea man. Im deffinately gunna try using a skimboard this weekend.
I was using a kneeboard before. But I was behind a boat without a platform on the back, so sketchy cause bailing facefirst into a moving prop is deffinately no beuno.
