Shockwave boards were on back order. I got in touch with KEE a month ago about replacing my Optimus with a Shockwave, I just received the Shockwave board on Friday. If you have a feeling they forgot about you, give them a call tomorrow and speak with them over the phone. If you're in Thailand, as is displayed in your profile, don't be surprised if the board is on its way as it may show up one to four weeks from today.
I suggest making that phone call tomorrow, they WILL help you.

So what is the difference between the Optimus board and the shockwave board?

User friendly, more options, slightly easier to change different settings. And if it doesn't forget your settings if you take the battery out for more than 15 seconds.

Funny thing was the techs asked for my address and contact number 3 times (last one being Aug 21). Till now I haven't gotten an update from them.
Really wasn't expecting this. What really made me pissed was that I bought gun new and couldn't get it to work right out from the box.
Guess I'll just have to give them a call. =(

I have the optimus board in my axe too. The biggest thing that I have noticed is that it is quite temperamental. I had to turn my eyes off this weekend to check for a problem and it took probably 10 tries to actually get them to shut off.

I guess I'm lucky, I've never had a problem with the Optimus board in my main axe.

I've gotten a new Shockwave from KEE. This may sound stupid but I noticed the two switches on it. Both, as sent by KEE are on "1" and "2". Do I have to switch it to "ON" instead?
Just wanna make sure so that I don't screw anything up.

Dip switch #1 is your tournament lock. Switch it "on" to lock your settings so they can not be changed in the field without opening up the battery door. Dip switch #2 does not serve any function and does not matter if it is in the "on" position.

Thing is I am now based out of US. Day time for me, night in US.
I have been corresponding with someoen from Empire. But whenever I ask when will the sensor board be sent to me, I get no replies.

Somewhat related, I was told that firing above 10BPS with eyes off with the axe can mess up your noid? Is this true?

Not true. I don't know where this myth started. Dry firing is just fine for the gun.

It's actually how you reset the solenoid (well, without Air). Absolutely nothing bad happens.
