Im sure some of the nerdier among you have heard of American ninja warrior. I want to be a contestant when I turn 21 in a year and a half. Up until now most of my training has been general bodybuilding type stuff but I now want to develop a more well rounded, athletic fitness including speed, strength, and balance. I am a scrub now but In time this will change
Right now I lift 3-4 times a week and soon I will be adding daily cardio as well as rock climbing and slacklining several times a week.

Would think your best bet would be from:
-Sprints
-Vertical jumps
-Rock Climbing walls
-Balancing
-Pulls Ups
-Agility drills
Would definitely work on joint stability/mobility as well.

I prefer to work out alone. It enables me to concentrate on the lessons that the Iron has for me. Learning about what you're made of is always time well spent, and I have found no better teacher. The Iron had taught me how to live. Life is capable of driving you out of your mind. The way it all comes down these days, it's some kind of miracle if you're not insane. People have become separated from their bodies. They are no longer whole.
Your best bet is to obviously, replicate the movements performed on the show. Speed and agility work will be your best friend. Crossfit could help (never done it so I don't know the specifics but when I watched the Crossfit games they did a bunch of that stuff). Grab a prowler and throw some weight on it and drag it around your yard.

Don't live in Atlanta
Don't see why you're mad though. Legit posted advice in this thread. That link I posted is a better version of Crossfit, and directly applicable to OP's needs.
