Any guesses on how many months Kobe and Nash are out this year due to injuries? Nash will start getting his Social Security checks soon. Lakers better hope Howard can carry them with his bad back.

Thunder own the west. Kobe should just retire now. At least we won't have to worry about the Lakers being relevant anymore for awhile now that they have Dwight to poison their chemistry.

no one owns the west at this point. Denver, the clippers and especially the lakers got a lot better this off season. its pretty open if you ask me, although i am leaning towards the lakers, health permitting.
the heat or a healthy (loltainthappening) bulls will win it again.

Pretty weak. Really takes away from the guys who aren't superstars but play the position well, the Hibberts and Kamans of the game. I understand the move, but I don't like it.

^Agreed. Really guys? The Lakers trade for Howard and Nash and now everyone wants to count the Thunder out just like that? Are you not scared of KD and Westbrook? And if James Harden stays with them they are going to be a scary team for years to come. With only 2 years left i don't think Kobe's dick is even going to be able to make it out of the west.
Also i think removing the center spot was a mistake, and it's about time for a new commissioner.

Kobe played well against the Thunder. Now that they have a big man that won't disappear in big games, and an actual PG, I expect them to be a huge threat. That said, I'd still say that OKC is the favorite in the West.
Off topic, ESPN is way over-hyping the NBA preseason. At least three separate times I've heard them say, "(insert team) gets a big win in this one!" It's the ****ing preseason. None of these wins are big at all.

If Westbrook goes full Westbrook, Lakers will win. If Howard goes full Howard, the Thunder will win/.

Thunder just traded Hardin to the Rockets. Bad for everyone involved in my opinion.

Seriously. Why would the Thunder give their best player away? Aldrich for President.
