Two inches of pain.
Although I bet Lin is the one assuming the "bottom" role in this relationship.

I agree with everything but the bold. Gasol was a beast in the '09 and '10 playoffs. They don't win **** without Gasol.

Everyone keeps forgetting about Antwan Jamison on this New Lakers squad. He put up 17pts per game with the cavs last year. With his new supporting cast he can be an ultimate weapon for the Lake Show.
They will make the West Coast finals this year. The will beat the Thunder in 6.

The Lakers are going to the Finals, its pretty much guaranteed barring injury. And the Heat will be tested beyond their wildest dreams in June.

You must have missed the discussion. Must have been in the old thread. I don't know about ultimate weapon but definitely a solid role player.
I said before that he also gives them a lot of flexibility. Can play the 3 or 4. If Pau gets hurts he fills into PF. Or if Dwight gets hurt Pau can slide over to C. Gives them a solid scoring option off the bench. He can help spread the floor. And he signed for the veterans minimum. So even if he gets hurt in the first game and doesn't play all year, it's not going to hurt.
IMO best role player signing the year.

Maybe that they acquired one of the best passing pg's in the league and have once again landed the best big man in the game. it is no doubt the lakers are the team to beat in the west

We haven't seen them even play a possession yet. On paper, they look great. But until they beat the Thunder, they are the team to beat in the west. Even the match-ups are better for OKC. Westbrook > Nash at this point in their careers. Sef will make Kobe struggle a bit. Durant > MWP. Ibaka can check Gasol. Perkins is one of the few who can bang with Howard. Hardin is the best 6th man in the league, but the Lakers do have Jamison now.
I am curious to see how well Howard will play after his surgery. If he regresses and cousins continues to improve, Howard will be the 2nd best center in the West.

Sefalosha won't do **** against Kobe. Westbrook is a better scorer and athlete than Nash, but Nash is still a better distributor and a better orchestrator of offense.

Lakers tried this before with an even better lineup of Superman, the Mailman, the Mamba and the Glove in 2003. Pistons kicked their ***** anyway in the finals. They better hope Nash's good sense can overcome Howard's mouth cause Bron is growing up.

Why would he want to play in Minnesota while Rubio is out?
