good to know, i didnt know they reproduced them. i think i have had more hits on an RC than any other bait outside a senko (bass, obviously). the RC 1.5 and shad rap have been my go to plugs.
i am really lacking on my top water baits and need some suggestions for spooks. i have been mainly using heddon super spooks and zaras but would like to try out the chugging spook. i got pretty good at walking the dog last year and that has to be the most fun bass fishing i have done. the top water bite is simply the best.
hitting one of the best steel head rivers in the world in 4 hours. heavy rains brought the fish, hopefully the bite is back.

You can never go wrong with a spook, they're simply put tried and true walking baits. Some other spook style baits that I have in my arsenal are Lucky Craft sammy's and gunfish as well as some Jackall bonnie's. I want to try some of the Jackall bowstick's as well. Surprisingly enough, BPS makes some pretty good top water baits for them being so cheap. I have the Jackall Iobee frog and I walk it just like you would walk a spook and the bass tear it up.

Repo Mans are good ones as well. My all time favorite is a Vixen, but they quit making them some time ago and are selling for insane amounts.

my god the fishing sucked today. it barely rained this week and the river was swollen to all hell. the current was so high i could barely keep a heavy spoon down in normally super slow moving holes. oh well in a few days there should be tons of new fish and the water will be down.

id kill for a brown right now, have not seen one in a good while. ive been getting more pike hits than trout near my house lately, which i cannot really complain about. the conditions have sucked this year, its either been too high or way too low but when its lower pike seem to come out of the woodwork.
they are stocking a couple lakes around here next week for ice fishing. if i get skunked i might just it those up for an ezmode pick me up

Excited right now. Going fishing in the morning and I don't have to use my boat, going on a friends. No charging batteries and making sure I have all the **** ready to go.

I only have one Vixen left and I refuse to throw it out of the extreme fear that I will lose it somehow lol. I'm sure if I went to some garage sales I could find some or in an old tackle shop but I still don't want to risk it!
@hedgehog It is always nice when you can go with someone else and don't have to worry about messing with your boat. Unfortunately for me, out of all the guys I fish with I have the closest lake house which is roughly 30 minutes away and always get suckered in to going there so we can fish the entire weekend, usually with my boat! One of my buds really paid me back big time this summer though and took me up to Guntersville to stay at his roomate's parents house for an entire week. One of the best weeks of my entire damn life.

Got a big shipment of those crankbaits in last night. :-). Just in time too because Wired 2 Fish put them on their 2012 Wishlist aka another article with a link to our site!
Pretty sweet

Toadfish. Did it grunt haha? I pull those up occasionally when I'm fishing for sheephead.

Sweet, thanks man! I will get it headed your way today. Those finesse jigs are super popular down here. I think you will like them.

I would love to order some of those but I am mucho broke-o lol. The woes of being a college student. Just have to keep telling myself this will all pay off one day, especially if I get a CRNA license.

Haha...I know the feeling. I'm not too far from college myself. I graduated 6 years ago and my wife got out 4 years ago. I can't count the number of times our checking account would be less than a dollar at the end of the month.
CRNA would be sweet. I've got two buddies working on getting those right now. It seems like almost anything nursing is a pretty sweet gig since there are hospitals everywhere.

My sister is a nurse at the VA hospital in Baltimore. I wish I made the kind of money she does. Plus federal benefits.
Moral of the story...get a job with the government lol.

My dad works a government job and its not the pay that is sweet it's the benefits you get that are just head and shoulders better than what you would get anywhere else. But that being said, any nursing job is a good job because they're always in demand all over the country. I'm just ready to be done with the school part for a couple years and start my career and make some decent money.

Male nurses, especially. There are so few of them, they get hired pretty much instantly, and often get promoted much quicker.

That is the first time I've seen one I think. The fins on the side are wicked.
