Got a pair of virtue laser eyes. I managed to get them installed but when I went to take the plastic cover off to clean my bolt the eye harness is getting stuck and I cannot remove the plastic sleeve.

Any idea how to get the sleeve off without crushing the eye harness. I tried a screwdriver without any success.

I have the same exact problem. Ive recently had to send my board to them and explained that same problem. They said I could send them back to them and theyd try to fix it. It may just have been made alittle bigger. I should be getting them soon. I used an allen key to push eyes down to a point they would slide off. I hope when I get them back, they shaved them down or sent me new onws. If not Ill probaly just shave the plastic body alittle to compensate.

The eyes will work with any board. Do your virtue eyes kill your battery?

Honestly dont know. I installed them, used them for maybe a half hr, then cleaned the gun. Since they pinched, like you mentioned, I took them out and didnt put them back in.

PS: Just got them back and am about to install it all. They gave me all new items.

After closer review, I found they are the same eyes. Still have the same issue. So Im probaly just going to shave the body down to compensate

I busted mine so I had to send them back as well. Are you just going to sand the body down

no it takes just about the same amount of energy to power the IR led. The only difference is that laser eyes work in the range of visible light rather than IR
