I'm kind of torn right now, should i blackheart my vibe or just keep it but dont do anything to it and buy another marker, right now i just have a 16 inch SP linear barrel on it

I quit paintball for like 4 months and sold all my gear so this is my first marker getting back into the game

I was thinking about.. an ion.. for 100 bucks i can get one with quite a few upgrades since everyones selling em now hah, or just keep the vibe.. but if i bought another marker i would have 2

what do you guys think?

How serious are you about playing paintball?

I upgraded my Vibe, but that was because it had a noid issue (it blew, leaked and wouldn't stop leaking) so I bought a blackheart. I also bought a Techt L7 bolt since it's one of the lightest (either the techt or the deadlywind hollowpoint, can't go wrong with either of them).

I got a CP on/off from my friend and a freak barrel (I have tons of freak inserts) from another friend.

I would not have spent money on those things if I had to buy them new. I would look in the B/S/T for used upgrades if you're going to get them.

But here is a question you need to ask yourself before you go out and spend a bunch of money:
"What is it that I don't like about my marker, that I need to upgrade it?"

I see so many people go out and buy upgrades and they aren't good at paintball. Make sure to spend your money on paint, before you waste it on upgrades. It's better to buy the paint and get better at paintball, then to have a gun shoot really great and you can't get kills with it because you don't know how to shoot it.

im pretty into this time around.. like i 'quit' paintball 6 months ago, and sold my G4 and everything for some dumb reason, so im started back up into it, so far got the vibe, halo, nxe pod pack, oringmonkey rebuild kit, bunch of good stuff.
Im ready to play some good rec ball, but the ROF is killing me on the vibe.. its no G4
But then is it really worth spending 100 bucks on the blackheart and breach or better to just buy another marker, thats what im not sure of

Other then that though theres nothing i want to change, maybe a new bolt and an on/off asa, but im happy with my 16 inch sp linear barrel, i wish i got 14 instead though

You do realize that the Vibe is capped at 11 bps, and last i checked most fields require 10.5 bps semi capped. So maybe you need to calm down a bit on the trigger and make your shots count more? If you really absolutely have to have "OMG KILL" mode, then yes get the BH board. The modes and eyes are worth the money if that is what you are looking for.

yah i realize it, this is my 2nd
and cant say that i have ever been to a field where they had a cap on the ROF so that is not a problem
here in canada we do things different well no i just live in the middle of nowhere and my home field is just some cool guys backyard basically where he set up a cxbl field and made a little store, best and cheapest place ever though

just wouldnt it make more sense to buy another cheap used marker that has modes instead of 100 bucks on the board?

I love my vibe i just threw in a new trigger and a firebolt much nicer
