I bought a Spire two weeks ago and think its a great hopper, sure it does look a bit like James Bonds under water car, but I like the look. Two weeks is not really a great comparison on its long term performance, but so far I think it is a better hopper than the Rotor and Prophecy. (This is where the fan boys go crazy)
I have had 5 Rotors since their release in 2009 and am a big fan of the Rotor, but it did have a nasty habit of jamming, some times it was because of the paint and sometimes it was because of dirt. But generally they worked great and were super heavy duty. (left one running under water for 20min ad it still works today)
The Prophecy on the other hand is not a hopper that I could say was really that different. Mine broke fairly quickly at the neck and then all the features were not such a big deal as we have a 10.5bps cap for Millennium. Not saying that it is a bad hopper, just think it's not that different from any other Empire hopper that has been released in the last few years.

You do understand how the Spire functions right? The spire drive pushes up underneath if there is a jam and then frees whatever is caught.

one. I personally use a prophecy v2 because that's what we were given by our sponsor. I now am out of the tourney scene and still rock the v2 because it has never given me a reason to switch plus I love the 240 round capacity. If I ever need a new hopper I would love to try one except one thing scares me. If the rubber fingers just bend out of the way if there is a jam doesn't that mean it won't feed paint? If someone could clear that up it would be great. When the z2 gets a jam it clears it and loads more paint down the breech before you even notice it. Correct?

If it gets a "jam" the spire drives fingers will bend and the the cone will spring down underneath it popping the jamed ball out and the feeding the next balla right behind it. It does this very quickly and you wouldnt even notice it did it.
