Shooting my 06 Dark in the backyard with some Stinger paint. I forgot to show that it was right around 4000-4100 psi before i started shooting on my 45/5000 Evil Scion tank with steaIth Crossfire reg. I ended up right around the last 200 psi thanks to the Violent SL3 reg allowing me to shoot deeper in to the tank. I got around 870 shots or 5 pods and a full Velocity off of my fill. I'm considering getting my bolt POOTY MOD'D so I could get 6-7 pods plus a full loader. My little brother did shoot another pod through it until it started to drop which actually brought the shot count to 1000, though I don't have a chrono so I don't know when it dipped below 250-.
My lil bro shooting my Dark, it started to drop off towards the end since I let him shoot it after the efficiency video, but he did a good job shooting so i though I'd share. He even hit a can from 50 feet away that was hanging from a tree. You can't really see it, but if you listen closely you hear him hit the can.
Thanks guys, ya I know I was kinda poking fun at some people about the Ion, it shot and looked great just really wanted my 06 Dark so i sold it and I'm really glad I did.
EDIT: I'd really love to add a nice Dark Angel, Darq Marq, Dark SL74 and Dark SL8R to my collection, but it's going to take time.
Thanks Vegard, you have a sick collection! I always liked the PL milling and Warped Sportz has always been one of my favorite companies. It also helps that I like Avalanche and they used the Dark Ego for 2006.
i had the same color dark ego. #0013 (i think). but it came with the lucky15 barrel.
never could figure out why they didnt include that barrel with all "dark" edition markers.
edit: love that color. and still one of my all time favorite markers. dont ever get rid of that thing. its a classic in the sense that its probably one of the last private label milled markers that warped made.

Oddly mine does not have a serial number, I asked and Nicky said it happened on some of them. I know that only the first 25 from Warped Sportz came witht the matching lucky 15 barrels. The others came with 2 piece shafts. Thanks I love the color and milling on it too, and I'll never get rid of it. It is one of the last few true PL milled markers, there was the bob long Darq, and most recently the Dark Axe.
First off...thank you for shooting your dark ego in semi...I get so tired of watching everyone shoot in psp! Second congrats for sticking with the dark ego...that gun is beautiful for one, and old school seems to be SO much nicer then some of the cookie cutter crap companies keep putting out nowadays. And lastly I LOVE your choice of loader! I just went back to a virtued vlocity myself...rotors and prophecys can't hold a candle (aside from disassembly).
Also did you get your velocity issue worked out? Saw your post in the ego forum.
Once again, beautiful dark ego 6...hopefully you'll run hat thing until it either doesn't work anymore or you retire from paintball!

Haha you're welcome, I get sick of seeing all of those too! It's like wow you can pull the trigger three times a second.. Not my best shooting speed, but I had recently adjusted my trigger and wasn't quite right on the return strength. Ya I'll use my 06 Dark til it stops working and then it will be on my wall! I agree with you, they have milled the egos to the bone, and honestly my Dark performs well enough that I can't justify selling it for a newer ego. Ha I use the velocity for 3 reasons, it's cheap, reliable and light weight. I do believe I got my velocity issue fixed although I havent got a chance to see it over a chrono yet due to working on the weekend a lot.. I believe it was due to a low dwell, with my LPR adjusted in too much. I corrected that and flipped my reg seat even though I didn't think it was needed. Thanks again for all your compliments, I haven't liked any marker I've used as much as my Dark Ego!
