Andromeda: Tactical Lighting (EPIC and AWESOME military inspired lamp!)

Hello PBnation,

My name is Felix and I'm part of a small start up called Sketchy Design Studio. We recently just launched a product that we have been working on for the past couple of months on Kickstarter! It is called Andromeda: Tactical Lighting.

Andromeda is a military inspired tactical tri-rail lamp that we have designed. It uses picatinny rails so that the legs and arms are fully adjustable. You can adjust the shades of this lamp to whatever position you want, so it can fit your style.

I have been paintballing for awhile now, and thought that posting it in the military topics forum would be awesome! Attached are also some images of it incase you do not have time to visit the kickstarter page.

I think it's pretty cool, but obviously needs an IR or at least a red bulb to make it useful in the field.

I don't think it's intended use is the field.

This lamp was not intended to be used in the field. It would be used just as a desk lamp. I'm glad you like it though!

Is there a purpose for this aside from just being a cool looking lamp? I just can't see any justification in buying this for 560$. It looks cool, but what makes it better than a 20$ lamp....

I think it's pretty kickass. I'm just not sure what the whole donation thing is about if you're a small business and plan to sell em. I'd buy one of I had extra dollars laying around.

didn't say there wasn't a market for this stuff, I'm sure every zombie apocolypse fanatic would eat this up, but I'm just asking if it does more than just be an every day lamp is all. If not, I personally wouldn't buy one, even though it does look bad ***.

It is pretty cool looking, may-be if I was in the top 0.5% income bracket and had more money than I knew what to do with I would buy one but that is not the case.
