yes there is obvious cosmetic wear. I didn't use acrylic paint, but w/e its a scenario gun that only adds character! Everything mechanically is working 100%. as in factory specs. I just recently had it serviced, as in broken down and cleaned inside and out. all new o-rings, and chronoed at 275 CONSISTENTLY.
