Guys relax, modern day psychology has shut down those arguments entirely. There are studies that can prove simulated violence (call of duty, Halo, paintball) actually ware the brain out from wanting to commit violent acts.
The media has a job to do. They're doing it, nothings going to happen to our sport. The claims "Paintball made him do it" simply cannot be substantiated.
I have to agree here, but we know that there always has to be a scapegoat. At this point I feel everyone truly KNOWS that be it video games, trap shooting, PAINTBALL, don't cause a person to do these things. They just happened to have been a part of their life (probably the healthiest, most sane parts!) when such tragedies occur, and its easier to point a finger than to realize that it wasnt these activities that caused him to snap, but likely in his own psyche that other people took him to the breaking point.
As long as no one in the paintball community says something REALLY dumb or outlandish, this will roll over soon enough. The attention span of the media-fed is relatively short spanned; lets hope we move on quickly from here.
