These .50 caliber guns have been in testing at some of the major paintball fields across the country and they are now hitting the stores.

Not sure when you were a kid, but when I was a kid the closest thing we had to this was "Gotcha, The Sport". Those things sucked bad. Shortly after buying one I got a Sheridan PGP and the rest is history....

I think a lot of us owned Gotcha guns. I think anyone that bought one of those figured out real fast they weren't as advertised.

I was talking with my wife about this product line this morning. 20 years being around paintball, never once has she wanted to play. She's shot some of my guns, but never wanted to get into an actual game. With these, she's willing to give it a try. It's like "gateway paintball".

They had a small magazine like disc, held maybe 10 or 12 shots, I dont really remember. I do remember that they had absolutely nothing in common with a paint ball. Each round was a small rubbery capital "I" looking thing with a waxy goo coating. horrible horrible idea.

Just bought 2 of the rifles at Walmart tonight. My son and I shot them in the yard. Absolutely a blast!! Paint is great, shell is right on the money. Very fun at 50-60 feet (ran out of yard space for longer shots)
This could be the fuse to reignite paintball.

I bought a box of the splatmaster paint and tried it in my Spyder Opus... It works much better than the spyder slate. Just thought I'd share my discovery.

We are selling this stuff in my shop. Kids are loving it and parents are too! We have a few demo ones and people can't get enough. The best part is the guns and paint are so cheap that it's an impulse buy for half the people that get it lol

How old is your son? Thinking of getting one/some for mine on his 7th birthday here in a couple months.
Bit of a downgrade though, going from Angel LCD to splatmaster. He's had the Angel sense he was 2, time for something he can actually carry and use I guess.

Advice for the thread: "how to open a paintball store"
NastyShock3r: hey guy's i live in miami i need help to open a paintball store can anyone help or can tell me what i need to do?
midstatepaintball: That's easy! Just push on the front door of the store if it says "push", or pull on the door if it says "pull".

This is exactally what I like to hear. I haven't seen it in Canada as of yet, but hopefully it will pump the spirit back into the game, we need it.
I found that a lot of elite'ism crap killed the sport for many peeps.

sorry Wolf I'm going to have to disagree with you, I think this is going to be another one of those great in theory but terrible in reality situations. this line of JT markers are too close to toys to be taken seriously. It's much ado about nothing.
