One question i have is it a monthly fee to play online? Thats what killed the Star Wars MMO's, dont want that to happen to this one.

I feel MMOs as a genre have been fading over the last number of years. They are built up and built up and then half the population leaves within the first week or two, yet publishers keep scooping up titles to push out like it will be the next big thing. It won't be. There will be moderate hype leading up to release and then it will wither away into obscurity like every other "modern mmo"

Idk, this is Bethesda, they seem to be pretty good at making video games that hold their ground. I mean people still play Marrowind.

They are talking about guilds in other MMOs. They want to know how many people are in guilds. Also, they want to get statistics about what they should expect about their own guild environment. On top of that, many guilds are cross-game and massive, they want to see if you are in one of these as that will make you a better tester.

Ah, I see yeah I'm kind of new to MMORPG's so that threw me off guard. Guess I wouldn't really be a good tester. Maybe I'll just lie about it so I get a spot in the beta.

That's not what killed SWTOR, they couldn't release new content fast enough to keep people enticed. People got bored of doing the same raids over and over and over again everyone having the best gear possible. So they all went back to WoW or whatever MMO they came from. Also Server wait times and Lag during the first week or two didn't help.

Wow, wouldnt have heard of this besides this post.. Definately excited! I compare every MMO to WOW now at this point ( Im sure alot of people do) and I honestly don't mind if its similar but I really hope the PVP is a little bit more personalized

I have so many mixed feeling about this game. they have some work headed out for them with a megaserver. I would hate for it to lag or need shut down maintenance often. and ive never played with the mouse being your main action keys.
