Just curious if anyone knows how good this marker really is. A buddy of mine is trying to sell it to me for 300

Not a horrible price for the gun but a tiny bit high IMO. It is as good as the elite, just doesnt have all the accessories with it. If you want mag fed switchable to hopper fed you cant get better.

I love it but it takes some getting used to when it comes to cleaning. All of the problems I've had with it were because I didn't put it back together correctly.

If you're looking for a mag-fed marker with the option of a hopper/first strike this is definitely the one to get. Personally I think the ranger is the most practical out of all the T9.1 packages. Just for perspective, I got mine brand new for $350
