I am still kind of disappointed that he is still playing the same damn tunes after 3 years... I wish he kept up with what he started the set with, real deep dark heavy house tunes with killer percussion, thats the mau5 I like. I know his job was to close the night out but he could of done that with just 2 or 3 tunes at the end instead all the tunes you always hear 100% of the time in a mau5 set
Lucky was absolutely ****ing astounding
Fred V and Grafix opened the bass stage and played THE best set i've ever heard. those two wove together such a ****ing intense and amazing ride through liquid/mainroom/deep tech dnb like i've never even heard before
to top it off, they hopped off stage and told me and my friend to come with them so they could interview us as we were 2 of about 15 people even at the stage, two of the nicest and humblest guys i've ever met and were so thrilled we showed up to dance our ***** off to their opener set
ed rush and optical were fantastic too and camo and krooked were insane but fred v and grafix were without a doubt the best part of the night
oh and delta heavy played the ****tiest set i've ever ****ing heard in my life. stopped a moombah tune to play higher ground and looped computation for two minutes trying to do some fancy transition down to 130bpm. just horrible. what a let down

Nice! good info to know, I always wondered how Fred V and Grafix were live.
I just got home from seeing Goldie and Bailey, they both say they would like to take U Street Music Hall and Washington DC people back to London with them!
Bailey's set was pretty damn good, very fast paced. Goldie's set was one of the best I have ever heard, and they even let him play for an extra hour! so 2.5 hours and then .5 hours with him b2b with Bailey! When the owner of uhall gave him the go ahead to play one last tune he played James Zabiela - Perseverance (S.P.Y. Remix), what a tune!!! they sold the place out also! pure good vibes from everyone there. I think this could mean good news for dnb fans in DC again
also hearing Break on a huge system = O.O my brother who isn't a dnb head at all turned to me and was like "oh my ****ing god"

Hospitality was siiick. FV&G killlllled it, one of the best all around dnb sets I've seen in a minute. Left about half way though C&K's set, but it was pretty damn on point.
