I have heard nothing but bad things about nitrorcx.com. I also think electric is a better choice then nitro for a beginner, and I know from experience. I have been in the hobby for about 6 years and I am finally quitting to get more into paintball, but anyways the only car I am planning to keep is my team Durango DEX210 brushless. Electric is more fun in my opinion because it is quieter and faster than a nitro any day. Also, with electric you don't have to maintain and tune the engine and the batteries still last really long on an electric r/c. My battery on a full charge lasts about 20mins!

Don't take it from me necessarily because this is only my opinion.
