there is a hole drilled at the top of the body take a allen key down that and it should lead to the hammer where there is a little screw, turn that to the right to lower the screw, and then try again if it still dose not work, sorry i know this is really general but i dont know how to explain it.

So is the frame not on the gun? It won't cock without the frame.
