I know this combo has already been done but what the hell i figure. Eflex black frames and ears, proflex lime bottoms. Soon to have a paisley lens trim. The lime bottoms really dont clip in that well at all. They pull out pretty easy.

I'm lazy, I'll fully admit it.

I didn't cut anything on mine.
I'll start by admitting, I never owned or really liked Flex8s. But after seeing how cool Sonny Lopez from the Hitmen looked rocking his old school Flex8 in the woods, I decided I wanted one since I've been playing some woods events again. Only problem is, I prefer the Event lenses and I hated the camo Flex8s. They were very woodland and a little silly looking. I just wanted something dirt colored that looked rugged.
Then, when I looked them up, Sonny's goggles even didn't really look how I remembered them. Here's a pic of Sonny wearing his (kneeling) from PbNation's Facebook.
So I roughed up a set of Flex8s just to make the camo look less goofy. Then I was really surprised to see how well they fit on a set of stock Eflexes. No cutting. No modifying. Took 2 minutes to install.
I want a darker strap and possibly some different Empire jewels to finish it out now.

John can you post pics of the inside of the ears, where the lens mounts in the ears?

I didn't really make anything. I just scuffed up a set of camo Flex8s so they didn't look so silly. Then I pulled out the rivets since the chin strap had long since been cut off.

The lens doesn't mount to the ears. It doesn't need to since the strap goes through the ears.

Got it. So the frame is mounted on the clips around the nose and corners, and then the strap clips into the lens like normal but with no ear connection, and those straps feed through the back of the ears. Might pick up an 8 frame now!
