ok so heres the deal, I CANT HEAR **** from my slys, but i dont want to buy another mask cause there so comfy
i was thinking of drilling maybe a couple of wholes thru the ear piece, enough to hear more but not to much so my ear foam messes up.
if anyone has done or done something in this area, please lmk asap!

People have been cutting holes in the ear foam itself. But nothing through the actual mask itself, the would be rather risky.
Cutting a large hole in the foam where you ear rests makes a big difference.

my profit's ear foam had came loose from the mask, actually danggling but not totally peel off from the mask it self, so I tried cutting hole on that earfoam where my ear sits, the hearing was dramatically improved... go try it

If you have a local store that sells Profits ask if they can order some for you to avoid the shipping fees associated with going direct.

I don't know of many companies (if any) that can afford to give away (for free) all of the running changes made to their products. Unless the change is vital to the structural integrity for safety concerns I wouldn't expect anything for free.

tear out the foam its a whole new mask! i hated mine before , love it after.... no more sounding like your in a closed room when you yell, your breath escapes alot easier, you can actually hear whats going on. there is no need for foam there .. its hard enough plastic/rubber material your not going to be injured through that. just my thoughts

I have tried that already, the only place that I can find the replacement foam is directly from sly.

Oring Monkey has the replacement foam and the vent blocker. I saw both yesterday on their mask display wall. I believe you can buy it as a bundle or part out the ear foam.

That vent blocker on top was added for when it's raining correct? I just got my Profits and have used them once. I felt like there should be more ventilation on top when I realized this piece came off.
