Eblade 2 + Tadao Board = Death to Autococker SR Ram

My local paintball shop told me the ram on the Autococker SR can't take pounding of a Eblade 2 with a Tadao board at 20 balls per second. He said there was so much friction it snapped the ram rod right off. The tech advise me a Autococker with aftermarket ram can keep up but not the Autococker SR Ram. Does anybody has thoughts on this. Can the Autococker SR Ram keep up?

The LPR must have been through the roof and the ram had to have been dry... 20 bps is fast sure but that shouldn't kill a gun

Those two are right, it could be any of a dozen reasons.

In your shops defense, the stock WGP rams kinda suck. They'll work at 20bps, but you can tell they've got to work at it. Where a belsales can cycle at over 40, and 20bps is just a slight jog.

Ok... if I am reading you correctly, you don't have one BUT the shop employee is advising you about one?

The SR can handle 25 bps sustained.

The SRs issues stem from the ram bumper, and QC in the factory. The MP5 ram bumper is a hard plastic, and when it breaks pieces get into the MP5's TRVs. Sometimes the ram piston wouldn't be installed all the way, so it would fall off inside the ram sleeve.

The pump arms can be replaced. Yes, I know the ram shaft and pump arm are one piece. Talk to the guys at Chipley Machine.
