Had some mental processes about lenses lately.

I have a wedding next saturday and I thought:
Rent 70-200 2.8vrii for a week (another gig on the next wed.) which would be appx 150 or so. While at it rent a lensbaby.

Then I thought, a lensbaby is about that much so why not just buy that.

Then I saw a 60mm 2.8d micro on ebay for $265 and thought. . . low light, good condition, and macro again and all for $100 more than a rental fee.

So now I've got in primes

24mm
35mm
50mm
60mm
85mm

And they all do different things at different times that make them useful.

I really need to stop doing midwest trips with my guys and go out west, I still need to hit up Yellowstone and Big Sky.

My advice;

Just do it. If you find 2 weeks free grab all your ****, stuff it into your trunk and leave like I did.

If I didnt have responsibilities I'd be a hitcher, or something similar, I need to see more of the world.

With that gap I had last year after my degree I could have done that and went back to Europe and parts of Russia. Then fly out of Russia to Cali and work my way back home.

I regret not doing it, I am packing **** up and going to Canadia though this winter to see some other PbNer's.

We'll see what trips I'll be able to do after I find out my tattoo bill.

I just made it up. 10 bookings, $50, 1 hour.

10.50.1 didn't flow out of my mouth well. So I stuck with 10.5.1 since 10.50.1 looks weird to me. lol

Not much thought put into it . . . just want to do some shooting to get some good photos without actually paying out any money except for gas and equipment use.
