I really wish some company would make a full frame mirrorless camera, something a bit bigger than that maybe the size of a Leica. I think there is a big enough market that would pay a premium up to around $1500 for that kind of quality in a travel camera.

I believe people will pay 2k +. I would totally consider it. Small FF camera. The problem is the lens system that would go with it. How would you cover sensor without a bunch of glass?

My guess is that they'd have to come out with a bunch of primes for such a camera like the new 40mm pancake

ever stumble into a situation you really wish you never did but you feel like you need to know more to the story because you are just way too curious to let it die? did that today, and made me very tired.

basic is this: friend asks me to be a reference for him. I say yes. He gives me the organizations website. I hear that the organization has a leader that plagiarizes all of his speaking material. I investigate and find all of his content sourced from other people and passed off as his own. I call said person and he doesn't like me and hangs up. I email his supervisors and they clear it up (sorta).

Why did I even call in the first place? I'm not sure.

It's like you find out someone is stealing pictures from your friend and getting paid as passing them off as their own. You just feel like you need to call and ask some questions. So that's all I did . . . interesting day.

I probably cause too much trouble.

Hoping you didn't use your name. Because if so, you may have ruined any of your friends chances, since you're his reference.

They tracked my number but my friend won't work there anyway. He found out after he sent his application. If they call he is going to decline. He doesn't have to have a job. He already has one. It was just interesting how easy it is to track what you say on the internet.

So I got that email from B&H about the Canon mirrorless and though $800 is a pretty expensive, I figured I'd see what all the fuss was about. The discussion started with accusing Canon of reusing the same sensor in everything and quickly spiraled into debating over who did or didn't understand Fraunhofer and Fresnel diffraction. Needless to say I didn't really learn anything from the pixel-peepers and buzzword nerds. Personally, I think it's pretty cool that they stuffed a t4i into such a small package, but it's not for me.

if it were designed like the way olympus is going (like a smaller ae-1 or whatever) then people would like it.

I've played around with the Nikon mirrorless. I hated it. I'd rather have m4/3 olympus.

Is that the Nikon 1 or whatever? I messed around with those in a store and thought they felt like absolute toys. I'd just as soon use clip-on lenses for my iPhone.

yah, the nikon is disgusting. If I could choose a mirrorless it would be aps-c and styled like the concept mirrorless put together by this guy:http://davidriesenberg.com/archives/262

Yum:

The olympus style they have going on is sexy too. I would want to be able to have some type of optical veiwfinder though.
