i've come to the conclusion that if i were to ever get really serious about lifting/nutrition i would have to stop smoking, maybe not for good, but i'd have to severely cut back at least

im posting on here because last night i came to this realization, ironically while i was high, so i'm expecting you guys to hold me to this

was smoking 7 days a week, easily. Only a couple bowls at night tho, nothing major.

yall aint ready to see what i can do nutrition wise without weed

I've been looking at pro strongman stuff all evening.

Holy ****, dream physique/capabilities for me, definitely. I respect the hell out of those guys.

Also, got RIDICULOUS leg DOMS after my squat/frsq/rdl workout on monday. Yesterday morning I woke up and could barely walk. Totally crippled hamstrings, combined with super sore calves from running on Sunday(should have stopped at 1 mi in the vibrams. live laugh love).

However, foam rolling, stretching, and actually moving around this afternoon at the gym has really helped. I think I'm going to be ok by tomorrow. I've only gotten DOMS like this maybe twice before in the 1.5 years I've been lifting. I think the cut plus really nailing my RDL form in the past couple of weeks has made a big difference.

I dont know how you could afford to smoke that much jewfro. I agree if you get really serious about lifting and nutrition you would probably have to stop unless you have a really good job.

I know a lot of successful people smoke pot, but it seems like the kids that just graduated high school and smoke a **** ton end up ****ing up their life. That whats I see around here anyways. They just want to smoke weed and do nothing else. I believe you can smoke weed and still be successful at whatever you want to do, but dont let it get to your head.

Don't blame the weed for your lack of diet, blame lack of self control. Not trying to sound like a dick, but you can overcome that ****. However, if you feel like quitting would be beneficial to you, go for it. But it's completely possible to smoke and eat right. Just kinda budget your meals and snacks and only eat what's appropriate. Or just suffer through the munchies, they don't last forever.

The biggest problem for me is my friends/roommate always eating bad **** and talking me into going with them. Dat peer pressure.
