They probably spliced into the gauge cluster lighting as a switched 12v source for the boost gauge. If they didn't do it right, and the connection came apart, that could be it.

Either that or it's shorting on something.

That makes sense, my pillar gauges are connected to my headlight switch too which kind of sucks. I want to wire my gauges to a toggle switch and get that all done correctly. I'm pretty nooby to soldering though

Soldering is cheap and easy to learn. You'll spend far more time getting to the wires that need to be soldered than you'll spend actually soldering them.

Also why would you want a toggle switch rather than having them wired to ignition?

wiring it to the ignition would be a better idea.

If you could setup a relay, that would be ideal, but it's not always an option. How many gauges do you have?

2 but I have external temp and boost. Which is useless, i'm probably going to switch external temp to oil pressure

External temp? The hell? Never heard of anyone putting one of those on a street car.

I know, same like he put a massive front mount on for a tiny turbo, and put bigger injectors on that weren't even slightly needed, and made a "custom" short shifter, and bought crazy low springs without buying camber adjustment bolts or anything to properly align the car.

Easy fixes. I'm only running a boost gauge because I haven't done anything wild with my car yet. I'll run AFR and oil pressure when things change.

I need to get a boost gauge so I can try to figure out if my problem is a boost/vac leak or something else.

Alas, I am poor.

I'm poor too. I'm more set on saving my money to build a new computer.

Also, my bg ratio is through the roof thanks to freeleach. 1.4tb up, 60gb down. I also donated so I'm elite VIP

I need to get a boost guage since I'll be stage 2 after this build but don't have the money right now, seeing as I need a new set of tires.

I'll end up getting a Boost/Oil pressure/Oil temp and then a steering wheel guage with air temp. All this before I do turbo prep/16G.

They really would. If I had any reason to head up that way soon I would but I'm not. Maybe, if you don't sell it, I can make a Christmas trip up to the north. I have a few good friends who live in CT so it could be justified.
